There are a lot of numbers being tossed around out there… earnings are down, American consumers continue to hunker down and market continues to make significant weekly adjustments.  It is easy as a business to let those numbers intimidate you or confuse you into inaction.  Perhaps one of the most important numbers to note is that more than 48% of US adults believe that a lack of advertising by a retail store, bank or auto dealership during a recession indicates that the business is likely struggling, according to a study from Ad-ology Research.
